  My friends! I hope things are going well for each and every one of you. For me, things are great. I am officially in Ghana, in my area, with my companion, and life is good.  On Tuesday morning I left for the mission home with my group of 19. The Accra MTC was delightful. Our 5 days there were due to a scheduling error, but God's hand was in that, as it is in everything.  I've seen that so much this week. My area is just perfect for me. I'm serving in the city of Cape Coast where I will have so many opportunities to grow and grow and hopefully not get hit by a motorcycle or car.  The streets are crazy here. They're very narrow, and everyone drives fast. Motorcycles are much more popular than cars, and everyone drives very fast. Also, horns are very popular and essential to not getting run over. Elder Gong

 Good afternoon everybody. This week was really cool. We had some experiences that I feel typify experiences I've had throughout my mission.  The first was a wonderful exchange we had this Tuesday. I was with Elder Alfian, the Liberian legend. We went to Ankwanda and felt prompted to go to a member's house right away. When we get there, the member wasn't around, but I remembered my previous companion telling me that there was an English-speaking sister in a house across the street. We went to that house and met Hannah, a sister who stayed in Liberia for 20 years who lit right up when Elder Alfian mentioned he was Liberian. She's been to church several times in the past and accepted an invitation to be baptized during our lesson.  Many times during my mission, I've felt prompted to do things that I otherwise would not have done. This experience is an example of that. I need all the help I can get; therefore I want to keep following promptings for the rest of my life....

  Good afternoon everyone! This week was fantastic. And also really wet. The rainy season has officially begun and we've felt it. I don't mind the rain but the mud makes it hard to keep our shirts white. We've had fun though.  This week we had some cool experiences. We were able to start teaching Francis, the husband of a lady named Dorcas we've been teaching which was a miracle. We've been wanting to meet with him for a while and it just worked out. Our first lesson had a rocky start. I ate some bad akyeke right before the lesson and as we were starting we had to excuse ourselves so I could sprint to the nearest public toilet. I can now now say that I've used a Ghanaian public restroom though. Only cost 5 cents and that included a free sheet of newspaper for reading and other purposes.
