Banku and Blessings

This week was wonderful and challenging all at the same time. I've eaten more banku this week then any other week of my life by far. Banku is like the corn part of a tamale except it's in a big ball and you dip it in soup and eat it. It's nice. We paid a member to make us a bunch of it so now we make a big pot of soup and eat it with the banku. When I say we I mean Elder Momoh makes the soup and I chop the onions and microwave the banku. We all have our role in this great work lol. We had some big miracles this week in our area and companionship this week though. One thing we've struggled with this week is getting people to help us translate what we teach for those who don't speak English. Our branch is pretty small already and the members are all really busy, but our branch president and his wife worked with us twice this week, and we were able to get help from Evelyn as well, a stellar young woman in our branch. Bad Analogies and the Atlantic

Hey everyone! I sure love and miss you all. This week was kind of like eating candy corn-- not your favourite thing ever but you just keep on eating because it's nicer than not eating. And before you realize it the bag is gone and you've eaten it all! That's what this week felt like. We had some great moments and some rougher moments but we never stopped moving. We finished the bag/week, and we're ready for another one. Anyways, I have more to share than bad analogies. This week had some really sweet moments in it. I learned some things this week that I would like to share. The first is that God is aware of us and gives us what we need exactly when we need it. I learned this in many different ways this week. On Wednesday we had an exchange with the APs so we traveled to Cape Coast. On the tro ride there I was feeling so, so down. To Whom Shall We Go?

Good afternoon my friends! I hope you're doing great. Elder Momoh and I sure are. Life is great in Elubo. We've been seeing a lot of success lately that just came out of nowhere. For the past few weeks we've really struggled to find new people to teach, which I have never before had a problem with on my mission, because Ghanaians are awesome and love hearing the gospel. For whatever reason though, we've struggled to find for the past few weeks. However, this week we were able to find a lot of new people and have really great lessons with them. That was a big tender mercy from God. Our friend Isaac is also doing so well. He said he wants to get baptized! We're excited for him. He's very humble and ready to learn. His English is kind of small but we've been able to manage without a translator the past few times. I just talk really slow and pray a lot and he seems to understand.
