Pizza and Progress
Good everyone! I hope you're doing good. This week was great.
It started with an awesome zone conference with President and Sister Morgan. It was so great. I love how interactive they are and how they teach as a team. We learned a lot about being united with our companions and the importance of teaching with the Spirit.
I've also eaten more pizza this week than any other week of my mission. Living in the city is such a blessing.
We've also had some great experiences this week with people we're teaching as well. One of our buddies that we're teaching named Philip came to church which was such a surprise! His son is a member, and we've been teaching him, but this whole week he was kinda dodging us but Sunday he came! He only went to sacrament meeting but it was so great.
We're also hopefully going to have a baptism for Sylvia this week. Sylvia is a 14-year-old girl whose grandparents are members. She doesn't speak English, but her grandma translates and works so hard to help her understand. She doesn't always understand, but we've been working with her and she's come a long way. The gospel is for everyone! I just love it.
I hope you all have a great week!
Love,
Elder Johnson
