Changes and Big Thanks

Good morning everyone! It's been a wild week. I've had so many reminders this week that this is His work, not mine. He can do it however He wants to and it's my job to just uncomplainingly do what He says.  This week we had 3 exchanges. In a row. It was wild but also fun. I spent Wednesday with Elder Muyaya, from Congo. He's learning English and doing great. His desire to learn it is really high and he'll speak really well by the end. I just told him to keep working on it the way he has been. Thursday was with Elder Lungu, from Zambia. That guy is so amazing. He really knows why he is here and what he's here to do. His conversion story is so incredible as well. He was baptized just two years ago and is so strong. His knowledge of the gospel also kind of blows me away. He knows his stuff.  My last exchange was with Elder Osauro from Uganda. He's a brand new Elder and has a lot to figure out still but if he wants it to work, it will. If we have a desire to ser

Water Thieves and Invitations

Good morning everyone! I hope you're all doing well. This week was freaking sweet. It also went by so fast!  In reference to the title, someone broke the pipe that connects to our huge water tank and took all the water inside of it! Kind of a random thing to steal I know. Apparently they've been doing it to our neighbors' too though, so keep an eye out for water thieves this week.  Some miracles this week:  Janet. Janet is so incredible. She's the one that was being taught by missionaries in another area of our zone who we found miraculously a few weeks ago. We invited her to Church that Sunday and she came! She hasn't missed church since and wants to get baptized. However, she and her husband haven't been married yet, which means she can't be baptized right now. We taught her about that and she responded by bringing her entire family to church! Her twins and their dad are super cool and Richforce (the kid's dad) agreed to meet with us on Wednesday. It

Burglaries and Baptisms

Good morning! This week was awesome. I've felt super motivated and excited all week which was awesome and I learned a ton.  In reference to the title, the reason this email is coming so early in the day is because four Elders are going to use this phone today because their phone got stolen! Elder Bollschweiler and Elder Lungu are staying with us for now because last night someone jumped the wall into their compound, juked out the security cameras with a flashlight, found the spare key to their apartment, went inside their bedroom, and stole their phone! It was insane. They were literally feet away from the burglar. Luckily Elder Bollschweiler yelled when he saw the guy, so he got scared and only got away with the phone, but it was still a crazy day. The burglar also took their spare keys so President said they should come stay here until they get the locks changed. It's a blessing in disguise though because we've been enjoying ourselves.  We had two exchanges this week, w

Fufu, Exchanges, and Miracles

Good morning everyone! This week was so wonderful. God gave us some incredible people to teach this week, two great exchanges, and we were able to teach Anthony in person! Lots of miracles.  The first highlight is that we we were able to have interviews with President Morgan on Thursday. The way we do it is we have Zone Council where we teach and learn and talk about missionary work while President pulls us out 2 at a time for interviews. One person talks to President while the other talks to Sister Morgan. Then we switch. It's so nice. They're both awesome so it's great. My interview with President helped me a lot. Talk about a man of God. I asked him a lot of questions that have been bothering me a little and he was able to help me with all of them. I also asked him if I could stay here for another transfer and he said he's down but that it's up to the Lord. So pray that I 6 month West Tanokrom.  It was really great though. I was pretty stressed about the council
